Featured Work: Key Theatrical Art for HooDoo Love
|
Hoodoo Love takes a captivating look into the life and love of a young African American woman pursuing her dream to be a blues singer. Hoodoo Love is a raw and unapologetic exploration of such taboo issues as folk magic, incest and betrayal. In the midst of all its dark foreboding elements Hoodoo Love manages to spins a hopeful tale of perseverance and commitment to ones dreams.
Camrin William created a intricate layout showcasing the theme and tone of the show. The marketing materials depicted a rundown shack that the two main characters live in. The soft focus, muted colors and brown wash add to the image's eerie and aged appearance. The story takes place in 1930's southern swampland. Click on the images below to see them full size. |
